How to set up All Media Downloader on iPhone

Subscribe, create your AMD key, install the shortcut from iCloud, and start downloading from the Share sheet in under five minutes.

All Media Downloader (AMD) runs entirely inside the iOS Shortcuts app. No companion apps, no copy-paste — you share a link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or any supported app and AMD saves the media for you.

What you need

  • An iPhone on iOS 15 or later (latest iOS recommended)
  • A Pro subscription at allmediadownloader.com
  • The Shortcuts app (pre-installed on iOS)

Step 1 — Subscribe and create your AMD key

  1. Sign in at allmediadownloader.com and choose Pro ($2/month or $12/year).
  2. Open your Dashboard and tap Create key.
  3. Copy the key immediately — it is only shown once. Treat it like a password.

Your key ties downloads to your subscription. If you rotate the key later, the old one stops working right away.

Step 2 — Install the shortcut

  1. Download the latest All Media Downloader from iCloud.
  2. Tap Add Shortcut when iOS prompts you.
  3. Run the shortcut once from the Shortcuts app.
  4. Paste your AMD key when asked. The shortcut saves it in its AMD-Shortcut folder for future runs.

AMD checks for updates automatically. When a new version is available, the shortcut will prompt you — always install the latest from iCloud.

Step 3 — Download from any supported app

  1. Open a post, reel, story, or video in a supported app (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  2. Tap Share.
  3. Scroll the share sheet and choose All Media Downloader (you may need to tap More first and enable it).
  4. Wait for the download to finish. Photos and videos go to your Photos library; audio and other files go to Files → On My iPhone → AMD DOWNLOADS.

That is the entire workflow. Once your key is saved, every download is just Share → All Media Downloader.

Tips for a smooth first run

  • Enable the shortcut in the share sheet — if you do not see AMD, tap Edit Actions or More and add it to your favorites.
  • Stay on Wi‑Fi for large videos — AMD resolves media on a server, but the file still downloads to your phone.
  • Public content only — AMD works on posts and videos you can view without logging into a special account tier. Private or restricted content may fail.
