All Media Downloader works by sharing a link from a social app — AMD resolves the media on a server and sends the file back to your iPhone. Here is what each platform supports today.

AMD handles the content types people download most:
- Reels — full video saved to Photos
- Stories — video or image stories from shareable links
- Feed posts — single photos or videos
- Carousels — swipe posts; AMD saves each item
Share directly from the Instagram app. You do not need to copy the link to the clipboard.
TikTok
Share a TikTok video and AMD grabs the best quality available. When the original upload allows it, downloads come without the TikTok watermark — useful for saving your own content or references.
YouTube
AMD supports regular YouTube links (youtube.com, youtu.be). You can save video or extract audio only.
Quality note: YouTube downloads are currently capped at 360p while server-side improvements roll out. Higher resolutions will return in a future update. Audio extraction is unaffected.
X (Twitter), Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn
These work the same way: open a public post with media, tap Share, pick AMD. Works for native video uploads and attached images. GIFs on X are saved as video or GIF depending on what the platform exposes.
Supports v.redd.it video links, GIFs, and image posts. For gallery posts, AMD saves the media items it can resolve from the shared link.
Works with standard pin URLs and pin.it short links. Video pins download as video; image pins save to Photos.
SoundCloud & YouTube Music
Ideal when you want audio only. Share a track link and AMD saves an audio file to your AMD DOWNLOADS folder in Files (not Photos).
DailyMotion & Vimeo
Public video links work out of the box. Private or password-protected videos are not supported.
How to use any platform
The flow is identical everywhere:
- Open the content in its native app (or Safari with a direct link).
- Tap Share → All Media Downloader.
- Wait for the save confirmation.
If a link fails, confirm the post is public, your Pro subscription is active, and your AMD key is set up. See troubleshooting for error-specific fixes.
